Optioneering
We understand that there is always more than one way to deliver a project, the key is finding the safest and most efficient. Our team has extensive experience in running through optioneering of High Voltage projects to understand the pros and cons around each solution and what is required. We can do this collaboratively with your team or we can complete a concise report so that you can understand exactly how each option sits in your delivery model.
Front End Engineering Design (FEED)
Once the option has been decided it is especially important to use any time in development to engineer out any risk. In a lot of instances contracts are let carrying a lot of unknowns and this materialises in delivery as either additional spend or an undeliverable project. This is not good as companies can not forecast their spend accurately or can’t deliver the portfolio of work they want to.We can advise of which elements of design should be carried out at this stage to help define the scope then engage our designers to carry out the work. This helps to early identify areas such as hard and soft infringements, structural overutilsation and foundation overutilisation.We can carry out detailed site assessments to put together a programme of work to fit outage requirements. This will also allow us to provide a detailed breakdown of what sort of work is required at each locationWe can put together a detailed stakeholder management plan to help understand who can influence the project and how best to manage it. Early engagement with stakeholders can help to understand any restrictions on a project and how they impact time and cost.With an efficient FEED process, we can allow you to understand exactly what the scope of work is and with our estimators can give you a real time cost with a risk register detailing the required contingency.
Tender Documents
In a lot of instances, the hard work carried out in development is undone due to contract documents that are issued. This can leave you in a situation where you are having to cover costs that were nor forecasted due to not having clarity in the scope of work. We can put these contract documents together for you or offer a review to ensure you are de-risked in delivery.
Tender Evaluations
Once tender returns are in it can be difficult on complex schemes to see which is the best return from a commercial and deliverability perspective. We can help you run through the returns and give certainty on the contractor you want to use.

Once a scheme is in delivery things should just go to plan...We all know it never quite turns out that way. You need experienced site teams to make sure the scope is being delivered on time, safely and to your specification. We have experienced supervisors who can manage quality processes and monitor the safety of work carried out on site. The most costly incidents are safety incidents which normally go hand in hand with poor quality of installation. We can make sure that does not happen.
